The button in this section sets a date/time override for testing purposes (set timezone first, see above). This is for testing purposes, and should be reset for normal use. When set, the clock will behave as if it is always this time. The drop-down list shows the years from 50 years ago to 50 years from now (currently 1974 to 2074). If you want to set a different year, select 'other' for the year and enter the year below. The acceptable range is 101 - 9999. Note that the system uses the Gregorian calendar, and dates before the change (Sep 14 1752 in the US) will not be valid. Check the box labeled "running custom time" if you want the clock to continue running (constant offset). This does not affect the clock in the gray button, that always shows the correct time.
