clock help menuYour browser: Netscape 5 (KHTML)
Use this form to change the appearance of the big clock display (check the 'enable' box to enable the big clock display).

Check the "show moon phase" box to show the moon phase while the clock is running. The color of this will be black of white according to the background color.

Check the "enable seconds indicator" box to show seconds with the indicators while the clock is running.

Check the "enable event reminder" box to show "NOW" for a current event or the time until the next event. Note that this can be shown only if events are being shown. and it wont work in some very old browsers.

Check the "hide info panel" box to hide the info panel to the left of the time (this includes AM/PM).

There are 5 things you can change the color of: text (date / time), big clock, indicators, border, and background. Select the colors of these items with the selection boxes below (see color chart on this help page if you want to see what the standard colors look like). You can choose one of the standard colors or select "other" to use any color (of the 16,777,216 available). Any custom color names are preceded by '.', for example: .mycolor

If you selected 'other', specify the color manually (see below).

Check the "date only on big clock text" box if you don't want the text on the bottom to show the time.

You can select fonts for the big clock, date. and indicators.

Check the "allow i18n for big clock time" box to enable locale-specific time displays on the big clock. You will still need to select a locale-specific format in "clock settings".

You can control "border style" (SVG only):
"solid": border is a solid color
"gradient": border fades out toward the inside
"V gradient": border fades in on one side and fades out on the other
"U gradient": border fades in on one side and fades out on the other, but with larger full-color area
"reverse gradient": border fades out toward the outside
"background gradient": as above but background color
"transparent": page background shows through border

Note that if you're using an older browser that doesn't support SVG (like Android before 3), you will not be able to see the big clock.

There is a box labeled "make background transparent". This allows the page background to show through. Note that when this is checked, the backround color for the big clock is irrelevant.

Then, you can select the size of the text (0-999), the big clock (0-999), the border (0-999), and padding (0-999, the space between the border and the other items). You can set the "auto size" mode (5%-500%), where the size of the big clock is adjusted to fit the browser window. Note that setting over 100% may cause scrolling.
